  20. Thanks to all who gave me advices to find images of the earth.
  21. Found three of them on tomahawk:
  22. One ca. 1100x360 which is very dark and if You make it lighter, it
  23. shows strong JPEG-Artifacting on the blue areas (oceans). But i will
  24. paint the oceans with blue so that these artifacts will disappear.

  26. There were also two smaller images which are ideally to perform
  27. an earth globe with relief. Looks really nice! (one grayscale as bump
  28. map and one color image as color map :-)
